Washington DC-bred, Atlanta-based rapper Yac-Yan Da Biznessman presents his new mixtape Good Bizness Vol. 1, featuring guest appearances from Marlon Asher as well as production from SwiftBeats and TwanBeatMaker. The mixtape’s release comes hot on the heels of the release of the music video for “Bonus” (click to watch). Yac-Yan graduated cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia with two degrees, while completing his first independent album Last But Not Least. He was voted as a finalist in several music contests including “How Down Is Your Sound” hosted by Ryan Cameron of Atlanta’s V103 and the Epic Records “Chevy Song Search”. He has worked with Universal/The Inc. recording artist The Thunderkatz and Pologrounds R&B sensation Boxie. Music Connection magazine named Yac-Yan as one of the top 25 demo’s submitted for the year. He has performed at the Texas Urban Music Summit, ATL Record Pool (watch), and his performance at the Riding Dirty Car Show was aired nationwide on the speed channel courtesy of Unique Whips (watch). ABC’s sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23 used the song for two episodes and Verizon Wireless used Yac-Yan’s song “Let’s Get It” for its Fan Zone Contest. “I took my time with this project to ensure it had something for everyone,” says Yac. “I wanted to cover all bases. The title plays off my moniker Da Biznessman. It’s also my creed, what I live by. It’s all about doing good business! Just press play and listen from beginning to end and you’ll get it.”
