One single _HIPS3_ has already been released – “You Died” featuring Uncle Murda (listen). Nova’s upcoming mixtape is the third volume of his _HIPS_ series (listen to Volume 1 and Volume 2). On April 8 Nova performed a live rendition of HIPS2 at Arlene’s Grocery in New York with the Michael Jazz Trio for the first #UnplugThatNew event, hosted by LowKey of YouHeardThatNew.com (listen). “The intro of the record is about making a transition from the old way of doing art to the new abstract art concept,” Nova says regarding the new single. “This is also valid in Hip-Hop.”
