Los Angeles rapper AC Killer presents the Dhark-directed music video for “Apocalyptic Preacher”, his new Heinz On Tha Track-produced single from The Unholy Trinity, his forthcoming album featuring Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Brotha Lynch Hung. Institutionalized in a mental hospital at age ten for fighting back against the daily abuse he suffered from his mother’s then-boyfriend, AC dropped out of high school to form his crew The Criminal Nation (CNO). AC was jailed after anti-police sentiments broadcasted on his public access program “The CNO Show” as well as his website resulted in a raid on his home. After release he met producer Heinz, who quickly became his closest collaborator. Five albums later he bonded with Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, resulting in a series of collaborations (watch the music video for “Warriors” featuring Krayzie Bone), all released under the CNO imprint. “Religion, philosophy, the occult, demonology, and theology are all things that interested me even from a very early age,” AC says. “To take those interests and incorporate them into a song that I see come to life in such a vivid video was a dream come true for me. ‘Apocalyptic Preacher’ is everything, it’s scary, it’s creepy, it’s intelligent. It’s a direct attack to the traditions that so many hold so dear. Some say the Apocalyptic Preacher is really me just with some face paint on, but I say he’s something or someone who I don’t really know, I only see him in these videos and these visions. I just hope the visions are coming from God.” The Battle Of Armageddon, AC’s collaboration album with Bizzie Bone, drops late 2014. Powered by
