On November 15, Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins will present his first foray into the world of visual art with “Time”, the second collection in the groundbreaking “Art Of Drums” series, which puts the musical masterstrokes of the world’s most respected drummers literally onto canvas. “Drums” is the brainchild of SceneFour, the Los Angeles-based creativity house that has spearheaded the ‘collaborative art’ movement through groundbreaking canvas work with the likes of RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Chuck D of Public Enemy and Bootsy Collins. G’N’R/Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum was responsible for the first collection, and Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and P-Funk sticksman Frankie “Kash” Waddy are among the other world-class talents slated.
