Yac-Yan’s 2009 single “Fast Lane” (watch) earned him radio airplay in over 20 US cities and charted top 10 on the Indie radio charts. ABC’s sitcom “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23” used the song for two episodes and Verizon Wireless used Yac-Yan’s song “Let’s Get It” for its Fan Zone Contest. “Bonus is one of those records that wrote itself,” says Yac-Yan. ” I actually had the hook in my head for a few years. While working on the mixtape I got a beat that matched the hook perfectly. I felt like the hook was catchy and the song had a good energy to it so I made it the first single of the mixtape. It’s just a fun song about kicking it with your homeboys and homegirls.”
