Dunn Deal PR promotes hip-hop artists online. We create short- and long-term campaigns that deliver your videos, singles, albums and brand to listeners, editors, bloggers, Youtube channel curators, Spotify playlist curators, writers and DJs, resulting in streams, views, interviews, radio play, posts, and followers. Based in Los Angeles with partner offices in New York and Hanoi, we’re creating a database of everybody in the world who cares about hip-hop music and culture. We learn what they each like. What they don’t. Where they live. What they want. We sharpen your social media presence across all major platforms and find your audience. Then we expose your music to the right people.

Our Youtube promotional campaigns have delivered hundreds of millions of streams for artists like French Montana, Kodak Black, Jennifer Lopez & Bad Bunny, Machine Gun Kelly & Lil Wayne, DJ Snake & Selena Gomez, Imagine Dragons, Vic Mensa, FEID, Karol G and more.

We’re responsible for delivering Def Jam singles to DJs worldwide from the likes of Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Sean Price, Pusha T and Rick Ross. We’ve worked on projects from Smif-N-Wessun, Murs, Method Man, Ab-Soul, Immortal Technique, Honey Cocaine and more than 5,000 up-and-coming artists. We’ve worked a fine art project from RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, and Delicious Vinyl‘s 20-year anniversary re-issue of Tha Pharcyde‘s classic debut album Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde. We’ve gotten our clients on ABC, Rolling Stone, MTV, BBC, The Atlantic, PBS, Pitchfork, Wired, Noisey, Complex, Vibe, HopHopDX, 2DopeBoyz, Respect, Mass Appeal, Ego Trip, Ambrosia 4 Heads, Revolt, RapRadar, OkayPlayer, DJBooth and more.

James Dunn

James Dunn founded Dunn Deal PR in 2006 after spending ten years writing for publications like The Source, Vibe, XXL, and RIME Magazine, over which he presided as editor-in-chief from 2001 to 2006. During this time James interviewed artists like Nas, 50 Cent, OutKast, The Game, KRS-One and the Beatnuts, the late Soulja Slim, and conducted the last interview with DJ Quik protégé Mausberg barely a week before he was tragically murdered in 2000.
